JD:

1. Deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including, routers, hubs, switches, WAN-accelerators and other hardware.
2. Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Operational Management
3. Configure networks (LAN/WAN) to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
4. Monitor network stability, availability and performance.
5. Identify, diagnose and resolve network problems as needed.
6. Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of customer's hardware and software.
7. Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
8. Experience in design, provisioning and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN connectivity technologies, hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, working with access control list (ACLs), TCP/IP. VLAN, VRF, Port Security, Traffic Shaping, Priority Queuing, Class of Service (CoS), IP Multicast, routing and switching
9. Ability to work effectively with all levels within an organization.
10. Ability to work both independently and as a team player
11. Proven ability to work on multiple projects and priorities in a deadline driven environment.
12. Willingness to attend training classes to keep skills current.

Physical requirements:

1. Required to be able to lift and move computers and other peripheral computer equipment.
2. Required to have solid communication skills, good diction and the ability to be articulate.
3. Required to have the ability to work in stressful conditions under time deadlines.
4. Required to be able to make judgment decisions and handle daily or routine responsibilities.
