Laravel and React Developer (Latin America, Remote position)

Overview

Bluelight is a leading software consultancy dedicated to designing and developing innovative technology that enhances users\' lives. We are expanding across the United States and Central/South America and are seeking exceptional talent to join our dynamic, diverse team in a remote Latin America location.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to challenging and meaningful projects by developing high-quality applications.
• Develop with Laravel (8+) and Inertia.js, building RESTful APIs.
• Work on frontend development using React or Vue.js (and Laravel Livewire as applicable).
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, take ownership over work, and meet estimates and team expectations.
• Align with Bluelight\'s clients\' goals and deliver commitments to the team and clients.
• Maintain a positive, proactive mindset and demonstrate attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8 and above.
• Experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder.
• Experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
• Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful APIs in Laravel.
• Experience with frontend development (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc.).
• Tailwind CSS is a bonus.
• Strong ownership, client-focused mindset, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
