Laser Beam & TIG Welder 2nd shift

About the role

Lawrence Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented TIG/Laser Beam Welder to support the fabrication and metal components. This position uses TIG/laser welding equipment to produce accurate, high-quality welds while meeting production requirements, engineering specifications, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on TIG/laser welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 2nd shift Mon - Fri 3:30 PM - 12AM and Saturdays as needed from 6AM - 12:30PM.

What you'll do

• Perform Tig and laser beam welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
• Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation.
• Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed.
• Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on TIG/laser beam welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures.
• Familiarity with pipe threading processes.
• Competence in laser beam welding.
• Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, preferably sanitary welding.
