Laser Engraving Specialist (Part-Time)

Part Timer: 16-23 August. $17/Hour. 9HR shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, calibrate, and safely operate Universal Laser Machines to engrave or cut lettering, intricate designs, and custom characters onto various product surfaces according to exact specifications.
  
• Create, sketch, and prepare original designs or patterns for printing and engraving using Photoshop and CorelDraw.Precision
  
• Measure and compute the dimensions of lettering, designs, or patterns to ensure flawless alignment before production.
  
• Use traditional hand tools and specialized engraving tools to trim precut designs, remove undesirable parts (using a graver), and manually enhance product surfaces.
  
• Print proofs, examine finished designs to verify absolute accuracy, and meticulously rework engravings when required to maintain FNP’s premium quality standards.
  
• Determine specific machine settings and manually adjust bars or levers to accurately reproduce digital designs onto company products.
  
• Transfer digital designs from sheet or film to dies or rollers utilizing decimal staining techniques.
  
• Maintain, sharpen, and form the cutting edges of gravers and cutter grinders to ensure clean cuts and prolonged tool life.
  
  Job Requirements:
  
• Proven track record in graphic design with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Photoshop and CorelDraw.
  
• Direct, practical experience using Universal Laser Machines (or equivalent industrial laser cutting/engraving systems) is highly essential.
  
• Strong manual dexterity and confidence using traditional hand tools, gravers, and cutter grinders.
  
• Ability to calculate, measure, and compute precise physical dimensions from digital files.
  
• A perfectionist mindset with the ability to spot alignment errors, scale issues, or minor imperfections prior to bulk production.
  
• Candidates who can showcase previous laser-cut/engraved work or digital design portfolios will be prioritized.
