LAST MILE DELIVERY DRIVER (VAN)

The client operates in freight transport by road, specializing in delivery goods and parcel services, as well as renting and leasing land transport equipment.

Job Summary

You will deliver goods and parcels safely and efficiently while providing good customer service and ensuring vehicle safety through daily checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods and parcels accurately and on time to designated locations
• Perform daily safety inspections on vehicles before starting work to ensure safe operation
• Verify inventory loads against shipping documents to confirm accuracy before delivery
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers during deliveries
• Complete any other tasks assigned by supervisors promptly and effectively

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a Class 3 driving license issued at least 2 years prior
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in pickup and delivery operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in pickup operations is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Self-motivated to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines consistently
