Lathe and Milling Machine Operator

• Preparation of the work process, machine setup, clamping and alignment of workpieces and tools.
• Determination of work procedures, equipment, and methods.
• Determination of cutting parameters and preparation of tools and materials for the manufacturing process.
• Setup of machine tools and the production process to achieve the required tolerances.
• Monitoring the use of cutting tools and setting up and controlling machines using the appropriate operating controls.
• Recording technical data regarding the progress and results of the work performed.
• Following the instructions of the supervisor.
• As required, performing manual work (grinding, finishing operations, etc.) and operating other machines, including multi-machine operation.

• Knowledge of general principles and procedures for machine and equipment maintenance
• Reading technical drawings
• Teamplayer
• Ability to work independently
