Tiburon Post Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and compassionate Laundry Aide / Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. If you take pride in your work and enjoy serving seniors, we'd love to have you join our team.

As a Laundry Aide / Housekeeper, you will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and dignity of our residents through exceptional laundry and housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

Laundry Duties

• Collect resident laundry and facility linens daily
• Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens
• Label resident clothing as needed
• Ensure clean linens are readily available throughout the facility
• Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service
• Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms promptly and accurately
• Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
• Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Report equipment concerns or maintenance needs promptly

Housekeeping Duties

• Maintain resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces in a clean and sanitary condition
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Assist in creating a welcoming, odor-free environment for residents, families, and staff
• Adhere to all facility policies and departmental procedures

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or skilled nursing experience
• At least one year of related experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable working with commercial laundry equipment and cleaning supplies
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
