As a Laundry Aide, you play an important role in delivering the Touchstone Experience by ensuring our residents receive quality care and service through attention to detail and pride in your work.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of Team Touchstone, you will:
Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry according to established standards.
Safely operate, clean, and maintain laundry equipment and automated dispensing systems.
Follow infection control practices, safety protocols, PPE requirements, and all community policies and procedures.
Ensure proper handling of clean and soiled laundry to prevent cross-contamination and maintain resident dignity.
Monitor water temperatures and use laundry chemicals safely and efficiently.
Keep the laundry department clean, organized, and operating smoothly, including routine housekeeping and lint removal.
Report damaged linens, equipment concerns, and safety issues promptly.
Support Residents' Rights by providing courteous, respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members.
Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team and community.
