Laundry Attendant

Position Summary: The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and other textiles used throughout the hotel are cleaned and maintained to high standards. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 24/7, requiring flexibility and adaptability to changing business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laundry Operations:Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold various textiles, including linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel items.
• Stain Removal:Identifyand treat stains on items usingappropriate techniquesand cleaning agents to ensure items are restored to pristine condition.
• Load Management:Efficiently load and unload laundry from washers and dryers, ensuring machines areoperatedin accordance withsafety standards and procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance:Regularly inspect andmaintainlaundry equipment,reportingany malfunctions or required repairs to management.
• Inventory Control:Monitorinventory levels oflaundrysupplies and chemicals, notifying management when reordering isrequired.Participate in end of month linen inventory.
• Sanitation Standards:Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment in the laundry area.
• Collaboration:Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensuretimelydelivery of clean linens and textiles tosupport hotel operations.

Qualifications:

• Physically able to bend, stoop, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Must be reliable and availabletowork weekends and holidays.
• Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards work.
• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English tofacilitatecommunication with guests and team members.
