Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to speak, read and write in english.
• Must be able to pass drug and background screening standards (NO FELONY, NO PENDING CASES)
• Must Be 23 Years or Older

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Employee must be able to flex time to meet facility needs, weekend work is required.

• Transport of soiled linen and clothing from the homes and other areas of the facility to the laundry via carts.
• Help sort and bag soiled linen and laundry.
• Operate washers and dryers.
• Drive a facility vehicle (laundry box truck or other assigned vehicle) to transport linen and clothing between buildings.
• Folds, irons and hangs laundry and linen to return to homes.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor.
• Learn and follow all policies and procedures.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift laundry products and supplies, up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.

Travel

This position requires less than 5% travel.
