Laundry Attendant

Pines of Sarasota is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our laundry department. If you have experience in laundry cleaning, especially in a healthcare environment, and are ready to take on the following responsibilities, we'd love to hear from you.

We prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in laundry cleaning and maintenance, particularly in an institutional setting, with a strong preference for those with experience in a healthcare environment.

Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:00PM

Monday - Friday and Every Other Weekend Required

1. Collect and Sort Linens: Gather and categorize soiled linen from resident rooms and storage areas throughout the campus.

2. Launder Linens: Follow departmental protocols to ensure that linens and residents' clothing are laundered to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

3. Fold and Stack Linen: Skillfully fold, count, and neatly stack linen in accordance with departmental policies.

4. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate laundry equipment in a clean and safe manner, ensuring optimal functionality.
