What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities)

As a Laundry Attendant, you will help keep our hotel running smoothly by making sure all linens are cleaned, cared for, and stored properly.

Daily Laundry Operations

• Receive and sort dirty linens by type.

• Pre-soak items with stains to help restore them to top condition.

• Set aside any damaged or unusable linens in the proper discard area.

• Load washers with the correct amounts and settings, following load limits and chemical guidelines.

• Dry, fold, and store linens neatly in the appropriate storage locations.

• Clean dryer lint filters daily to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Clean behind and above dryers weekly to maintain a tidy, safe workspace.

Cleanliness & Safety

• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of clutter—mopping floors as needed.

• Follow all OSHA/HAZCOM procedures and handle chemicals safely.

• Make sure linens are never placed directly on the floor.

Teamwork & Equipment Care

• Report any laundry equipment issues to the Director of Housekeeping right away.

• Complete all daily checklists to ensure consistent quality.

• Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support the housekeeping team.
