Skills & Experience
Great guest experiences start with fresh, perfectly presented linen. As a laundry attendant, you’ll be a key part of our housekeeping team, running and caring for our laundry so every guest, and every colleague, gets the best from us.
Previous experience working in a hotel or commercial laundry is ideal.
Wash, dry, fold and iron guest laundry, staff uniforms and linen to our standard operating procedures
Keep the laundry area clean, tidy, stocked and safe
Use equipment and chemicals safely, and report any maintenance issues or hazards quickly
Handle laundry items in line with health and safety guidelines
Help with regular stocktakes and store linen and supplies correctly
Support cost control by conserving energy and using equipment responsibly
Look after lost property with care
Service and clean public areas and guest rooms when needed
Greet guests warmly, help with requests and enquiries, and pass any issues on to your supervisor
Take direction from your supervisor and the Executive Housekeeper, while bringing a proactive approach
Work as part of a team that treats guests and colleagues with respect, supporting other departments when needed
Take part in team meetings, training and development programs
