Law Enforcement Specialist (Compliance Manager)
This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS). The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Law Enforcement Specialist (Compliance Manager) responsible for overseeing all compliance, quality management, and process improvement activities. Safe and Beautiful Task Force. The law enforcement component of the D.C. Task Force is a partnership of over 20 federal and local agencies working together to make D.C. the safest city in America. As a Law Enforcement Specialist (Compliance Manager), GS-1801-13, your typical work assignments may include: Identifying systems and/or program infrastructures ensuring that supportive programs and work activities are in place to prevent disruption of processes Overseeing risk-related programs and program activities designed to protect critical government physical and cyber assets. Evaluating and ensuring adherence to laws, policies, regulations, and standards for a variety of management programs impacting the FPS' Protective Security Officer (PSO) Program.
