NewJoin DLA Piper's Investment Funds team in Luxembourg and advise leading asset managers, institutional investors and fund sponsors on a broad range of investment fund matters. Our team advises on the structuring, establishment, fundraising, operation and restructuring of investment funds across private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, real estate, private debt strategies and the digital assets sectors.
As lead counsel on many of our mandates, we play a central role in supporting clients throughout the lifecycle of their international fund structures and cross-border investment activities.
This opportunity is particularly suited to lawyers who have developed a solid foundation in investment funds and regulatory matters and are looking to broaden their experience on complex international matters.

Main duties and responsibilities
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
- Advise clients on the structuring, establishment and operation of regulated and unregulated investment funds
- Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation, constitutional documents and commercial agreements
- Support fundraising activities and advise on investor-related matters
- Advise on the regulatory and operational aspects of investment funds and management companies
- Assist with fund restructurings, reorganisations, secondary transactions and co-investment arrangements
- Participate in legal and compliance projects affecting investment funds and asset managers
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and international offices to deliver integrated client solutions
- Contribute to client development initiatives, market engagement activities and knowledge-sharing projects
About you
We welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in investment funds, asset management, and regulatory matters. This role is generally suited to lawyers who have developed their expertise through approximately 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in an international law firm or comparable environment. The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Qualification (or imminent qualification) as a lawyer in Luxembourg or another European jurisdiction
- Experience advising investment funds, management companies, investment advisors or other financial sector participants
- Knowledge of Luxembourg investment funds and asset management frameworks
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Working knowledge of French and/or German would be an advantage
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders
- Interest in contributing to client development and business development initiatives
