LC Assistant Teacher

Gateway Learning Center’s Assistant Teachers support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum, while assisting with daily classroom operations. They help foster students’ cognitive, social, and emotional growth, and maintain positive communication with parents and families.

Gateway OneTeam members will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission: Presenting Hope and Developing People. Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness and demonstrating a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. • Job Status: Non-exempt, Part-time (10-29 hours/wk), Monday-Friday
• Job Location: In-person, Gateway Learning Center Campus
• Salary Range: $18-$19/hr

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Creating a safe, loving, and welcoming environment that continually engages children.
• Being a cooperative team member, working alongside and taking direction from your Lead Teacher.
• Actively participating in all activities with the children, including snacks, lunches, and play.
• Other duties as assigned.
