LEAD ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Serves as a Work Leader by identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks to team members in accordance with established workflow, and assures timely accomplishment of assigned workload.

Reviews documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to Accounts Payable policy and procedures.

Researches Accounts Payable data and performs balancing and reconciling of accounts.

Verifies the accuracy, completeness, and validity of a wide variety of Accounts Payable documents including: contracts; invoices; purchase orders; obligations.

Provides individual and team training in specific tasks and job techniques, and provides on-the-job training in accordance with policies and procedures.
