Lead

Position Summary

The Lead Staff is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services, ensuring clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective team leadership. This role provides supervision to clinical staff, supports program development, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

In addition to core clinical and leadership responsibilities, this role includes ongoing coordination with the corporate office, participation in organizational meetings, and support with staffing logistics and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Provide oversight and guidance for behavioral health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Ensure evidence-based practices are implemented across all services
  • Review and monitor clinical documentation for quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Support crisis intervention and risk management as needed

Team Supervision & Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate behavioral health staff (PSI, DCS, DSP, RBT)
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision sessions
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment

Program Management

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral health plans
  • Monitor program performance metrics and outcomes
  • Ensure services meet organizational goals and community needs
  • Support quality improvement initiatives

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies
  • Conduct audits and implement corrective actions when necessary

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with medical providers, social services, and external partners
  • Serve as a liaison between behavioral health staff and leadership, including the corporate office
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
  • Attend and actively participate in required corporate meetings, including a minimum of one corporate meeting per week

Administrative Duties

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workload management
  • Support call-off coverage coordination, including assisting in identifying appropriate staff coverage as needed
  • Contribute to budgeting and resource allocation
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to corporate leadership, including weekly and monthly reporting related to client care, program performance, and operational metrics
  • Maintain consistent communication with corporate leadership regarding program updates, staffing needs, and client care concerns
