Lead AI Engineer - Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of 20-30 production-ready AI prompts supporting 10-15 high-priority business processes using Microsoft Copilot and Generative AI technologies.
- Define and implement a standardised Prompt Engineering Framework, including prompt architecture, reusable templates, engineering methodology, and governance standards.
- Design, test, validate, and continuously refine prompts to ensure high-quality outputs, consistency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
- Establish prompt quality assurance practices by documenting expected outputs, configurable user inputs, exception handling, assumptions, limitations, and best practices.
- Create reusable prompt patterns and provide practical recommendations to improve prompt reliability, scalability, and output consistency across diverse business scenarios.
- Design and maintain an enterprise Prompt Library within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including taxonomy, metadata, search capability, categorisation, and scalable library architecture.
- Identify and recommend high-value prompts suitable for future implementation as Microsoft Copilot Skills, ensuring extensibility and alignment with evolving AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions while promoting prompt governance, documentation, and continuous improvement.
