Job Description Summary
Design, develop, deploy, and support artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that improve products, services, and business processes across the organization. Leverage advanced AI engineering, cloud-native development, and software engineering practices to deliver scalable, secure, and responsible AI applications and platforms.Job Description
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, deploy, and support AI applications, automation solutions, and digital agents.
• Deliver generative AI (Gen AI) and agentic solutions using established frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Apply software engineering with best practices to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable AI solutions.
• Support the full AI solution lifecycle from design through production support.
• Contribute to the enhancement, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise AI platforms and services.
• Improve AI products, engineering processes, and technical standards through the application of best practices.
• Support platform reliability, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead small projects or technical workstreams and help ensure successful delivery.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, security, and platform teams to deliver AI solutions and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or related field
• Eight years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or related disciplines
• Two years of experience in end-to-end AI solution design, development, testing, monitoring, and maintenance
• Experience designing and developing agentic workflows
• Experience delivering AI solutions in cloud environments
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock and AWS SageMaker
• Experience with OpenAI technologies, AWS Bedrock Agents, and LangChain
• Proficient in Kubernetes and Docker containerization technologies
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in artificial intelligence, data science, or related field
• Experience working in the insurance industry or other regulated industries
• Experience supporting enterprise AI platforms and cloud-native solutions
• Experience applying responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance practices
• Professional certifications in artificial intelligence technologies
• Professional certifications in cloud-native technologies
• Developer-level certifications in relevant technologies
Working Conditions
• Work outside normal business hours may be required to support global business operations
• Occasional travel for meetings, collaboration activities, and business initiatives
Compensation
The Salary for this position generally ranges between 131,000-165,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
