Introduction
We require a Lead Application Developer (Full Stack Microsoft.Net) and this is an office-based position in Cape Town.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy programs from program specifications.
- Construct and implement application programs.
- Construct / develop programs including coding, testing, and debugging.
- Ensure documentation of code / classes.
- Design application prototypes.
- Coordinate application plans with the development team or client.
- Adhere to WCG Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) methodologies and processes.
- Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions that meet the Department’s needs and optimize efficacy through training and support.
- Manage diverse technical teams that are responsible for translating user requirements into the design and development of customized applications in an agile environment.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering and/or Information Systems and/or Information Technology and/or related technical certification in an IT field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as an application developer working with:
- ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC 5 & C#
- HTML and CSS
- Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures
- Angular
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a development team, providing guidance and oversight to development teams.
- Proficient in Source Code Management applications.
Package & Remuneration
Market related salary per hour.
