Assembly Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a group of Assembly Technicians by coaching, mentoring, and guiding daily scheduling demands.
- Work with area Supervisor to organize and manage tooling and supplies.
- Fit up and assembly of parts and components, using fixtures, jigs, templates, and measuring instruments
- Follow Engineering Assembly guidelines; provide technical feedback for Engineering Change Request (ECR)
- Drills, taps, reams, countersinks, holes in subassemblies, and bolts, rivets, or otherwise fastens detail parts into structural assembly, using hand tools and power tools
- Install a wide variety of fasteners into multiple material types (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, hastelloy, etc)
- Inspect, measure, verify and approve assemblies and paperwork according to blue prints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, and customer requirements.
- Mix and use various adhesives per Engineered routing / customer specification(s)
- Performs 100% visual inspection of assemblies
- Identify defects in hardware, details and assemblies
- Periodically assist in other production areas at the discretion of the Production Supervisor or Operations Management team
