Summary
Automation testing Specialist/Lead who designs, builds, and maintains scalable test automation for web applications using Selenium WebDriver (with Playwright and Python/Java), develops API tests with REST/SOAP tools, and integrates tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Hybrid role (2 days/week in office) at CitiusTech, a healthcare technology services firm.

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days per week WFO)
Experience: 6 to 9+ years - (Specialist/Lead)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Specialist/Lead to design and drive scalable test automation solutions
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain automated tests using Selenium WebDriver for web applications.
- Build and execute automated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage (functional, regression, integration)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and create test plans that meet business needs.
- Develop REST Assured APIs to integrate with external systems and services.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and enhance test infrastructure for scalability and reliability
- Participate in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework implementation.
- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks and tools.
Job Requirements :
- Strong understanding of automation testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with Java programming language and its ecosystem.
- Familiarity with API testing principles and practices.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
