Lead Autosar Software Engineer

KPIT is seeking a Lead Base Software Systems Engineer to support VHIL labs, production, and pre-production plant setups. The role requires broad embedded software expertise on microcontrollers, hands-on debugging across bootloaders, AUTOSAR, and FOTA processes.
You will lead a distributed team, drive rapid issue resolution in production environments, and ensure system readiness for vehicle integration across multiple platforms.
Debug and triage embedded software issues in plant, VHIL, and production setups. Travel to production plants and test facilities for on-site issue resolution. Support system bring-up and troubleshooting of bootloaders, AUTOSAR OS, HWIO, COM, DCM, MEM stacks. Work with Automotive Ethernet and SOME/IP. Support diagnostic flashing processes (UDS-based, DoIP-based). Collaborate with FOTA teams on firmware over-the-air updates including campaigns, partial updates, rollback Handling. Bachelor level technical degree required. 5+ years in embedded software development with C/C++. Experience leading a distributed global team.
