Lead Back-end Engineer - Node
- Develop new features and work alongside our operations team to streamline their workflows
- Raise technical standards within the team, implement best practices, and ship robust code
- You will be the next most senior engineer in the team working closely with our lead engineer
- This position is roughly equal parts coding and reviewing others’ code
- The codebase is back-end heavy with a lighter Vue.js front-end
- The role will be 20-50% coding and the rest leadership
- 6+ years of full-time professional coding experience
- 4+ years of experience with Node
- Leadership experience
- Experience with large codebases
- Desire to take on greater responsibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Startup experience
- Experience in software architecture and design
