Role Summary
On behalf of our client—a fast-growing, high-throughput digital asset exchange,we are seeking an elite Backend Engineer to architect and optimize their core matching engine and order management infrastructure. This role is pivotal in driving sub-millisecond execution, high concurrency, and absolute precision for their multi-asset trading platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Engine Architecture: Design, build, and maintain the core Matching Engine and Order Management System (OMS) utilizing low-latency, high-concurrency design patterns.
- Risk Logic & Margin Engines: Implement real-time risk controls, including margin calculation logic, dynamic unrealized PnL tracking, and automated liquidation engines for leveraged trading products.
- Performance Optimization: Profile, benchmark, and tune system components to minimize tail latencyand maximize throughput (orders per second).
- Liquidity Integration: Build and maintain high-speed market maker connectors via FIX protocol, WebSocket, and custom binary APIs.
- Data Integrity & Ledgering: Maintain absolute transaction atomicity and system recovery using event-sourcing, in-memory state machines, and write-ahead logging (WAL).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Core Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Go (Golang), C++, or Rust.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience developing CEX matching engines, HFT execution components, or electronic brokerage systems.
- Infrastructure & Messaging: Hands-on experience with in-memory data structures (Redis), event streaming platforms (Kafka), and high-performance RPC frameworks (gRPC).
- Databases: Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and time-series data management.
