Summary
Lead Bagger at Living Earth operates and maintains mulch bagging equipment, ensuring safety compliance and product quality while troubleshooting equipment issues using PLCs and VFDs.
- Ensure that the mulch line bagging equipment is being operated efficiently while complying with all safety standards, regulations and operating procedures. ensure that all required equipment is cleaned and maintained in order to guarantee a safe working environment.
- Conduct validation testing to ensure all finished products comply with company packaging and quality control standards and guidelines.
- Possess and maintain a working knowledge of PLCs and VFDs used to operate bagging equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment stoppages, breakdowns and downtime root causes.
- Accurately enter, document and maintain all production paperwork and KPI metrics including daily and hourly production rates, downtime root causes and the associated downtime minutes.
- Move equipment with a forklift when required.
- Delegate line duties to associates accordingly.
- Working Monday through Saturday (Saturday is a half day or as required).
- Being available to work overtime hours as needed.
