Lead Bartender - Paniolo Bar - Full Time

As a Lead Bartender of Paniolo Bar, you have a passion for creating unique experiences, that can quickly perpetuate a culture of great design and superlative service, with a sharp sense of humor. This role combines high-level bartending with leadership responsibilities. The Lead Bartender drives bar standards, guest energy, team training, and revenue opportunities while supporting overall venue operations. In addition to all job responsibilities of a bartender, Lead bartender’s duties also include\:

• Lead by example through exceptional cocktail service and guest engagement.
• Maintain expert knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and NA offerings.
• Execute high-volume service while preserving quality standards.
• Support bar opening and closing procedures.
• Stay up to date with current cocktail trends
• Lead and uphold batching program
• Assist in cocktail menu creation. Create seasonal cocktails for menu with local ingredients when possible.
• Oversee bar cleanliness, pars, prep, and organization.
• Coach bartenders and bar support staff.
• Assist in training new hires and menu rollouts.
• Promote upselling, premium spirits, champagne, and featured cocktails.
• Maintain compliance with ID checks and alcohol service laws.
• Support nightly cash handling and bar checkout procedures.
• Help uphold bar cleanliness to health department standards including but not limited to bar clean ups and staff accountability

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $34.00 per hour.
