Lead Business Analyst - EV
Summary
EPAM is hiring a Lead Business Analyst for its EV domain, who turns complex business, technical, and operational needs into product requirements (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows) and champions user-centric, data-driven EV charging features from concept through launch within Agile/SCRUM teams. Core toolkit includes Rally, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and API integration.
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in the EV domain to drive the translation of complex business, technical, and operational needs into actionable product requirements. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional passionate about electric vehicle charging solutions who thrives in cross-functional environments and champions user-centric, data-driven product development from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer, commercial, operational, and technical needs into clear, detailed requirements documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, edge cases, dependencies, and non-functional requirements
- Validate requirements and solution concepts with users, customers, operations teams, and engineering through interviews, workshops, prototypes, pilots, and feedback loops
- Build user-centric, data-driven products by championing features from conception to implementation
- Determine customer needs through persona-based research and product feedback, and help define the overall customer journey
- Develop features that integrate across a variety of technical environments using Agile/SCRUM methodology, effectively managing tradeoffs on scope, resources, timeline, and customer benefit
- Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products
- Drive product launches through collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Maintain knowledge sharing tools and documents, such as user guides, FAQs, and training videos
Requirements
- 10-14 years of overall experience in IT, including a minimum of 7-9 years as a product manager or business analyst within a technology environment
- Experience with electric vehicle charging software offerings and EVs
- Background in delivering complex products, preferably SaaS products, and developing self-service applications
- Experience managing dependencies and securing agreement and trust from stakeholders to deliver successful products
- Background collaborating with software engineering and development teams
- Skills in Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, BRD, FRD, and Stakeholder Management
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, API Integration, and SQL
- Proficiency in Rally, JIRA, and Confluence
- Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's Degree
