Lead Business Analyst - EV
Summary
Lead Business Analyst at EPAM turning complex EV charging requirements into detailed product specs — user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows — while validating solutions with users and engineering, managing dependencies, and supporting beta/pilot launches. Core stack: Agile/SCRUM, Rally, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, API integration.
We are hiring a Lead Business Analyst to translate complex EV charging requirements into clear, actionable product specifications. You will validate solutions with users and internal teams, manage dependencies, and support launches with strong documentation.
Responsibilities
- Document customer, commercial, operational, and technical needs into detailed requirement packages including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, edge cases, dependencies, and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate validation of requirements and solution concepts with users, customers, operations teams, and engineering through interviews, workshops, prototypes, pilots, and feedback loops
- Drive user-centric, data-driven product development by owning features from discovery through delivery
- Assess customer needs using personas and product feedback, and help shape the overall customer journey
- Implement feature planning across varied technical environments using Agile/SCRUM while managing tradeoffs on scope, resources, timeline, and customer benefit
- Lead beta and pilot activities for early-stage products
- Partner across functions to deliver coordinated product launches
- Keep knowledge sharing tools and materials current, including user guides, FAQs, and training videos
Requirements
- Broad IT background with 10-14 years overall experience, including 7-9 years working as a product manager or business analyst in a technology environment
- Direct experience with electric vehicle charging software offerings and EVs
- Track record delivering complex products, preferably SaaS products, and creating self-service applications
- Ability to manage cross-team dependencies and build stakeholder agreement and trust to deliver successful products
- Experience partnering closely with software engineering and development teams
- Capability in Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering, BRD, FRD, and Stakeholder Management
- Understanding of Agile methodology, API Integration, and SQL
- Experience using Rally, JIRA, and Confluence effectively
- Excellent organization skills, careful attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Bachelor's Degree
