Lead C++ / Java Developer

As a hands-on senior engineer, you will design, build, and operate mission-critical FX market infrastructure using C++ and Java. You’ll own delivery of high‑performance components, shaping architecture and platform evolution. You collaborate with product, QA, SRE, and architecture teams to translate requirements into robust solutions, while mentoring others. • Design, develop, and maintain C++ and Java services for FX matching and trading workflows
• Own delivery for key platform components ensuring alignment with architectural principles and performance standards
• Build low-latency, high-availability systems handling high message volumes
• Meet non-functional requirements: latency, throughput, resiliency, fault tolerance, security, observability
• Contribute to system and solution architecture via design reviews and scalability input
• Collaborate with Product, QA, SRE, and Architecture to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Diagnose and resolve cross-environment production and QA issues including root-cause analysis
• Improve code quality through automated testing, performance tuning, and refactoring
• Integrate dependencies on messaging platforms and data distribution systems
• Evaluate open-source and third-party technologies ensuring regulatory and performance fit
• Provide technical mentoring through code reviews and cross‑team discussions
• Ensure adherence to SDLC standards and operational readiness
• Contribute recommendations influencing platform standards and architectural direction

• 10+ years of software engineering experience as a senior individual contributor
• Strong hands‑on experience in C++ and Java delivering production-grade systems
• Proven delivery in low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems (FX/trading)
• Understanding of system integration, messaging, event-driven architectures, data consistency
• Experience across full SDLC: design, development, automated testing, deployment, production support
• Familiarity with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, performance testing, monitoring/alerting
• Practical experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and open‑source technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to influence technical outcomes without formal authority
