In this role, we are looking for candidates who have a passion for clouds with knowledge of different cloud architecture environments, virtualization, and data center automation. Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Architecting to help customers get value from the client Platform. This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self- starter, you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world.

Responsibilities

• Experience in migrating large scale data and workloads from on-prem to GCP
• Must be able to clearly communicate to both technical and non-technical teams and all levels of management
• Data Ingestion, Storage, Processing and Migration
• Acquire , cleanse, and ingest structured and unstructured data on the cloud platforms (in batch or real time) from internal and external data sources
• Combine data from disparate sources in to a single, unified, authoritative view of data (e.g., Data Lake)
• Create, maintain and provide test data to support fully automated testing
• Enable and support data movement from one system / service to another system / service
• Ensure Data Resiliency and Integrity
• Define and implement processes and procedures to ensure resiliency of data, software and platforms
• Design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems with emphasis on security, compliance; scalability, reliability and portability
  
  

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Q ualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or Technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• GCP data services ( BigQuery ; Dataflow; Data Fusion; Dataproc ; Cloud Composer; Cloud Functions ; Pub/Sub; Google Cloud Storage, Monitoring and Alerting)
• Programming languages e.g., Python & SQL, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience with Unix/ Linux and shell scripting
  
  

Preferred Q Ualifications / Skills

• Data platforms (Teradata, Oracle, Data Lake, Data warehouse concepts)
