Lead Data & AI Integration Engineer

Absa Bank in Johannesburg (Sandton) seeks a Senior/Lead Data and AI Integration Specialist to design, build and evolve backend integration, data engineering, telemetry and observability across Absa's Data and AI estate. The role blends hands-on engineering with collaboration across architecture, platform, data and product teams to deliver scalable production outcomes.

Experience with REST APIs, SQL, Python and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Databricks is advantageous.
