Lead Data Architect | Enterprise & Solution ArchitectureTake the lead in designing secure, scalable enterprise data and integration architectures across a complex Australian Government ICT environment. Two senior-level contract opportunities are available, offering strategic architecture leadership, executive stakeholder engagement and involvement in enterprise-scale technology initiatives.
Location: Canberra ACT, Sydney NSW, Melbourne VIC, Brisbane QLD, Adelaide SA or Perth WA.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – onsite attendance is expected for the first 6 weeks, unless otherwise negotiated. Hybrid arrangements may then be considered, subject to business requirements and proximity to the nominated office.
Contract Duration: 12 months, with 2 x 12 month extensions.
Essential Tasks
- Lead the design of conceptual, logical and end-to-end data, integration and ICT solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
- Analyse business and technical requirements, identify capability gaps and develop strategic architecture options and recommendations.
- Oversee architecture design, integration and migration activities across complex ICT programs, managing technical risks and dependencies.
- Provide authoritative architecture advice to executives and governance forums while mentoring teams and strengthening architecture capability.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale data, solution, integration and enterprise architecture within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, governance practices, technical standards and secure end-to-end ICT solution design.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicate architectural recommendations and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience. TOGAF, Azure, AWS, CISSP or equivalent certifications and government experience are highly desirable.
