The Lead Data Architect works in all data environments which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Lead Data Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.Can you quickly learn new business areas and find ways to add value using technology? We need an experienced data architect to transform the way we think about data. You will help our organization become a model for others in our industry through our data strategy.
You will report to the Principal Solutions Architect and directly support corporate services departments (Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Compliance, or Legal).
The Lead Data Architect is responsible for developing blueprints for all data repositories, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems. Translate business needs into long-term data architecture solutions. Defines, creates dimensional database schemas. Evaluate reusability of current data for separate analyses. Conduct data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access. You will advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
You should be located within 50 miles of one of our Hub sites for occasional meetings in the office. These sites are in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, Dallas TX, Ft. Lauderdale FL, Louisville KY, Nashville TN, New York NY, or Tampa FL.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 or more years of data architecture/engineering experience
- Proficient skills related to Data Modeling, Database Systems, and Data Integration
- Experience with operational data integration
- Contribute to the creation of the Data Governance standards
- Experience with big data integration and analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 7+ years of Data Architecture experience
- Experience designing data pipelines and working with cloud platforms
- SaaS data architecture
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence Frameworks, modern data integration methodologies and direct experience in corporate services departments (Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Compliance, or Legal)

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
