Lead Data Architect

Salary: $160 - $180 - inc Super - Weekly Pay Options

• 12 + 12 + 12 month contract
• Baseline security clearance required
• QLD, WA, ACT, VIC, NSW, SA - hybrid

Our client, a Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, QLD, that delivers a range of welfare, health, child and other supports, requires the services of a Lead Data Architect.

Key Duties and Responsabilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements, identify capability gaps, assess emerging technologies and develop architecture options and recommendations that inform technology strategy and investment decisions;
• Lead architecture analysis, design, integration and migration activities across complex programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment across business processes, systems and delivery outcomes;
• Develop architecture artefacts, options, recommendations and technical advice to support executive decision-making, governance processes and program delivery; &
• Identify, communicate and manage complex technical risks, issues, dependencies and interrelationships, applying sound judgement in ambiguous and evolving environments.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive experience in ICT solution design, systems integration, migration and interoperability;
• Expertise in architecture assurance, technical governance and design review;
• Demonstrated ability to assess technologies, identify capability gaps and evaluate solution options;
• Strong technical risk management skills and the ability to resolve complex technical problems; &
• Proficiency in the use of architecture tools, repositories and artefact management practices.
