Lead Data Engineer

We are building modern, scalable data platforms that power analytics, AI, and data-driven decision‑making across our business and client environments. We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to provide technical leadership, shape our data architecture strategy, and lead the delivery of enterprise-scale cloud data solutions.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and optimisation of modern cloud‑based data platforms.
• Architect and implement Databricks Lakehouse solutions using Delta Lake and Apache Spark.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple sources.
• Enable seamless integration between Databricks and Power BI to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Drive data quality, governance, security, and performance best practices.
• Mentor and lead a team of Data Engineers while contributing to architecture reviews and technical strategy.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and technology teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.

What we are looking for:

• 6+ years' experience in Data Engineering or related disciplines.
• 2+ years in a Senior, Lead, or Technical Leadership role.

Strong hands‑on experience with:

• Databricks
• SQL & Python
• Advanced Power BI knowledge including DAX, Semantic Models, Direct Lake and performance optimisation.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale cloud data platforms and leading technical teams. (

Advantageous Certifications:

• Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert

You will play a key role in shaping our data and analytics capability, enabling enterprise reporting, AI readiness, digital transformation, and data‑driven decision‑making across the business.
