Lead Data Engineer

You will design and build data solutions, pipelines, visualisations, and products that combine behavioural, transaction, financial, and KYC/AML data. You will create business dashboards and extracts, select data tools, promote data quality, support CI/CD and testing, and monitor data-engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines, visualisations, and products
• Create dashboards, visualisations, and tabular extracts for the business
• Lead the evaluation and selection of data tools and technologies
• Champion data quality across Engineering and the business
• Document and embed testing best practices
• Enable CI/CD practices through data pipelines
• Build test plans and perform testing
• Develop and monitor data-engineering outcomes

Requirements

• Solid data engineering experience with successful data insight projects
• Ability to make Node.js application changes to capture missing data
• Communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of modern software-delivery project-management tools and methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
• Understanding of financial services, payment processing, and issuing-as-a-service models
