Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable enterprise data solutions for government projects. Manage a technical team to deliver robust ETL pipelines and cloud-based data platforms using AWS, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL solutions for enterprise-level government projects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and project managers to translate business requirements into effective technical data solutions
• Oversee the development and optimization of ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration
• Implement and enforce data quality standards and governance policies to maintain data integrity and compliance with government security requirements
• Support and manage cloud-based data platforms using AWS services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, RDS, and IAM
• Provide technical leadership by conducting code reviews, mentoring team members, and guiding best practices in data engineering
• Manage project deliverables to ensure timely completion while adhering to security and compliance standards
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and manage expectations through clear, analytical reporting and problem-solving

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or DataStage
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and scripting languages such as Python or Shell
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services including S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, RDS, and IAM
• Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams and managing project deliverables

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience delivering projects for government agencies or public sector clients
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platform architectures
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies
• AWS certifications

Other Information

• Work Week: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• Work Arrangement: Full Onsite - Central Region
• Salary: S$7,500–S$10,000 (with bonuses - varies)
