Lead Data Engineer (Python & PySpark) – Good English | 1-Year Contract

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive cloud data transformation initiatives.
• Manage Oracle-to-Azure migration projects.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and implement Medallion Architecture for data platforms.
• Establish and maintain data quality and data governance frameworks.
• Lead legacy data platform decommissioning.
• Manage end-to-end data engineering delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guide the Data Engineering team.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Azure Synapse
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
• Python
• PySpark
• Delta Lake
• Power BI
• Oracle & Azure Migration
• Medallion Architecture
• Data Pipelines / ETL
• Data Quality & Data Governance

Experience leading or mentoring a Data Engineering team.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong English communication skills required.

Other Information:

Working time: 9:00-18:00 (hybrid - WFH 2 days/week).
Location: BTS Chidlom.
Contract: 1-year contract.
