Lead Data Engineer (SQL) at BairesDev
As a Lead Data Engineer (SQL), you will spearhead the development, optimization, and management of robust database systems to power our enterprise applications. You will act as a key technical guide, ensuring high-performance data processing while aligning database strategies with organizational needs.
What You'll Do:
- Mentor database developers and collaborate with key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Design and document high-performance relational data models and database schemas.
- Develop, test, and maintain complex database objects including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Analyze query execution plans to diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement indexing and tuning strategies.
- Manage database transaction control, ensuring concurrency, data integrity, and proper isolation levels.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in Database Development, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in SQL Server development and advanced T-SQL engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience building complex stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Solid understanding of query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.
- Experience with relational data modeling, normalization, and transaction management.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
