Lead Deli Prep Cook

We are hiring for a Full-Time Lead Deli Prep Cook position with a wage range of $16.00 - $19.00 at our location in Hinton, AB. (Hinton Hill location)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare food according to operational standards

Provide assistance to Deli Supervisor and Department Manager as needed

Assist Deli Supervisor with maintaining, organizing, and ordering inventory

Maintain a clean and sanitized work area

Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures

Prepare special orders as per customers request

Assist in Team Member training and coaching to achieve operational standards

Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience

What you Bring:

1-2 years of deli experience

Warm and welcoming personality

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs

Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
