Lead Designer
Summary
Lead Designer plans and oversees utility systems for semiconductor cleanrooms, coordinating with engineering teams to deliver compliant, safe, and efficient facility layouts and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Semiconductor facility process and utility engineering support.
• Review process tools, cleanroom layouts, hook-up requirements, and utility demand.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping,HVAC, and cleanroom disciplines.
• Develop engineering deliverables including specifications, calculations,datasheets, and design reviews.
• Support feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering, construction,commissioning, and startup.
• Evaluate UPW, CDA, process gases, vacuum, exhaust, and chemical distribution systems.
• Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, and constructability reviews.
• Monitor contractor performance and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with SEMI standards, client specifications, and local regulations.
• Support project scheduling, cost estimation, and change management.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes,cleanroom classifications, process gases, UPW systems, exhaust systems, HVAC,EHS requirements, engineering software, and project execution methodologies.
