Lead Developer

emagine is looking for a Lead Developer to one of our nordic banking clients.

Location: Finland, Helsinki (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Detailed description of work task to be carried out

Credit & Capital Data Foundation (CCDF) Strategic Programme aims at remediating ECB findings to cover major data gaps and to create consistent, trusted and governed data at correct level in the Credit and Capital area.

There is ongoing Task Force with Finance aimed at prioritizing BASEL Rewiring and other critical works within Credit & Capital Data Foundation.

Expert Developer in Information Capability would need to take end-to-end ownership of the work from requirement to design, from development to test and release readiness, making sure or BASEL Rewiring is successfully acomplished. It takes into accountK

- Translating functional and non-functional requirements into the low level solution design
- Build robust solutions - manage code quality / flexibility to ensure maintainability and changeability of systems
- Technical guidance - support development teams with architectural decisions and best practice implementation
- Deliver according to quality, Nordea standards and timeliness to successfully fulfil business requirements
- Process optimization – Improve Agile ceremonies, streamline release cycles and establish governance standards

Must-have knowledge and experience

- Experience of working with technology implementation of large-scale enterprise solution architecture

- Understanding of modern application stacks incorporating both open-source and 3rd party technologies

- Experienced with integration and common integration patterns to support batch and real-time processing

- Understanding of data and information architecture including data modelling and common data management technologies

- Understanding of security requirements and experience with implementation of appropriate controls as part of solutions

- Strong communication skills, including the ability to guide, build consensus and work as part of a project team

- Business acumen and ability to understand the banking business i.e. credit risk, credit portfolio management

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience

- Hands-on experience in cloud data warehouses using Snowflake

- Experience with ETL pipeline development using Snowflake

- Experience in setting up CI/CD for ETL pipelines in Snowflake

- Experience orchestrating ETL pipelines
