As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for the DevOps and Platform Engineering domain of our eCommerce Platform.

You will drive the evolution of our engineering platform, improve software delivery capabilities, define engineering standards, and ensure the reliability,securityand scalability of our production environments.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will work closely with Software Architects, Development Teams, Infrastructure Operations and Product Engineering while mentoring engineers and continuously improving our DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Own and evolve the DevOps strategy and engineering practices for the eCommerce Platform.

Define standards, guidelines and best practices for software delivery,automationand infrastructure management.

Lead technical decisions related to CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, deploymentarchitectureand operational tooling.

Mentor DevOps engineers and development teams, fostering engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development and operational processes.

Design, implement and continuously improve scalable software delivery pipelines.

Drive automation across build,releaseand deployment processes.

Define andmaintainInfrastructure as Code and configuration management standards.

Improve developer experience through standardized tooling and automation.

Ensure engineering platformsremainmaintainable,secureand operationally efficient.

Reliability & Operations

Ensure high availability,resilienceand disaster recovery capabilities of the platform.

Lead production incident management, root causeanalysisand post-incident improvements.

Drive observability, monitoring,loggingand alerting strategies.

Improve platform stability through proactive operational excellence initiatives.

Security & Governance

PromoteDevSecOpsprinciples throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Participate in security initiatives, infrastructurehardeningand compliance activities.

Ensure security and operational best practices are embedded into engineering processes.

Partner with Software Architects on platform evolution and technical roadmaps.

Collaborate with multiple Agile development teams in a shared DevOps model.

Support prioritization of engineering initiatives, balancing business needs, platformstabilityand technical debt.

Contribute to technical documentation, knowledgesharingand engineering communities.

Your Profile

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.

Proven experience leading DevOps initiatives within complex enterprise environments.

Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Strong communicationskills with fluent written and spoken English.

Comfortable working in international Agile teams.

Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Git-based source control and CI/CD platforms (e.g. GitLab, Azure DevOps)

Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)

Monitoring and observability platforms (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)

Linux and Windows Server environments

Hybrid infrastructure spanning on-premises and cloud environments

Considered an Advantage

Experience designing enterprise DevOps platforms and engineering tooling.

Experience implementingGitOpsand modern deployment practices.

Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

Experience supporting Java and/or .NET application platforms.

Experience working with Microsoft Azure.

Experience or strong interest in applying AI technologies to software engineering and DevOps workflows.
