Lead DevOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Role & responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker containers, Azure App Services, and Azure Functions.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response.
• Manage Azure networking, API Management, Key Vault, Entra ID, and access controls.
• Lead deployments into customer Azure environments while ensuring least-privilege access and audit compliance.
• Monitor system reliability, performance, and scalability across environments.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive best practices in cloud operations and security.
• Collaborate with business, security, and development teams to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, AKS, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and cloud security.
• Experience deploying and managing solutions in customer or third-party cloud environments.
• Well-versed in IAM, RBAC, Key Vault, networking, compliance, and data protection standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-104, or AZ-500 are highly preferred.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to lead critical cloud initiatives independently.
