Lead DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to lead our team in Hungary, driving innovation and ensuring seamless system performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the software development team to ensure software and systems interoperability
• Lead and develop a team of DevOps engineers, fostering professional growth and excellence
• Design and implement reliable cloud solutions and service-oriented architectures
• Enhance CI/CD processes for applications and infrastructure using tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Maintain system logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to safeguard health and security
• Ensure systems meet standards for availability, performance, scalability, and security
• Apply industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
• Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Graylog, or Datadog
• Proven experience leading and motivating high-performing DevOps teams
• Understanding of core concepts in networking and security architectures
• Passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address bottlenecks and optimize workflows
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to a varied audience
• English level of B2+
