Lead DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our infrastructure and help shape the way we build, deploy, and operate our technology. This is a hands-on senior role combining technical leadership, infrastructure architecture, automation, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and continuously improve our infrastructure, focusing on scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Design and implement new cloud infrastructure and architectural solutions.
• Lead the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines in close collaboration with Engineering.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL, caching, and messaging infrastructure.
• Work with AWS services including VPC, ECS, EC2, RDS, MSK, CloudWatch, CloudFront, WAF, IAM, Lambda, and Route53.
• Build and maintain Docker-based environments and automate infrastructure and operational processes.
• Troubleshoot complex production and infrastructure issues and drive their resolution.
• Establish DevOps best practices and provide technical guidance.
• Stay current with DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and distributed systems technologies.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, or System Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure architecture, networking, security, and cloud best practices.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, Docker, and GitHub.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and caching technologies, preferably Redis.
• Experience with messaging systems, preferably Kafka / Amazon MSK.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure and make sound technical decisions.
• Experience mentoring or acting as a technical lead is a strong plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in iGaming, fintech, online entertainment, or another high-volume digital product environment.
  
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies.
• Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced technology environment.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, and incident management.
• Experience designing systems for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
