Lead DevOps engineer owning and evolving the Azure cloud estate for a growing B2B data platform — driving cloud migration, Terraform IaC, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD on Azure DevOps, security, observability and disaster recovery. Hybrid role in Nottinghamshire, UK, partnering with development teams on platform reliability.
In this hybrid role you will own and evolve the cloud infrastructure for a growing data business, focusing on Azure reliability, security, and cost efficiency. You’ll drive a migration programme and establish DevOps standards, IaC, CI/CD, and observability to scale a B2B data platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve developer experience and platform reliability, making a meaningful impact as the platform grows.

- Own and manage the Azure cloud estate with emphasis on security, reliability and cost control
- Lead adoption of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code to bring existing infrastructure under management
- Operate Kubernetes workloads including deployments, ingress, scaling, upgrades, troubleshooting and daily platform operations
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Support cloud migration and separation projects across Azure and GCP
- Design, automate and test disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Improve monitoring, alerting and observability across the platform
- Manage cloud security, identity, secrets and certificates
- Provide technical guidance on Azure architecture and platform engineering
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as senior escalation point
- Collaborate with development/technology teams to boost platform reliability and developer experience
- Experience with Azure cloud estate management
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Kubernetes administration and operations
