About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead their infrastructure and deployment strategies in George . This pivotal role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our client's CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS or Azure.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering best practices and technical growth.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the scalability, security, and operability of applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or related IT infrastructure roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation tools.
